Dr. Karl-Armin Brohm

Karl-Armin grew up on a farm in the North of Germany. After having graduated in International Management, he began his career on the family farm. The core business of the farm was on the production of potatoes, as well as corn and sugar beet. As a result, he gained a broad knowledge of food production, resource planning, logistics, sustainability and new technologies. Inspired by the topics of Corporate Social Responsibility, Blockchain and Farming 4.0, he decided to do his PhD on the topic of implementing Smart Farming into the value chain of the food industry. Therefor he has created an extensive network along the total food chain.
Innovation to address current food chain challenges originates in the creative minds of individuals. However, the shared value of these ideas only emerges through their implementation as a team.
